Aeroflow Healthcare, a leading provider of durable medical equipment and one of Inc. Magazine’s 5000 Fastest Growing Companies, today announced the purchase of a new building and fulfillment facility in Asheville, NC. The expansion reinforces Aeroflow’s commitment to the Asheville community and is also a reflection of their continued growth and increased productivity.
As Aeroflow experienced record growth through sales of high quality, durable medical equipment on its robust online platform, a new fulfillment center allows the company to continue expanding to better serve its customers around the country while remaining committed to its hometown and the residents of Asheville. This growth is evident by the company’s inclusion on the Inc. 5000 list for the third consecutive year with an annual sales growth rate of 146 percent.
The new 35,000 square foot facility will consolidate product inventories currently housed in two separate Asheville locations to a single, centralized distribution center, allowing for increased efficiency and improved rates of delivery to Aeroflow customers. Aeroflow will employ about 30 procurement, distribution and clinical services employees within the fulfillment facility when it opens in fall of 2017, with plans to add about 50 employees by the end of 2018. Aeroflow will also expand its corporate, call center and administration teams.

At the new site, Aeroflow aims to create a space that illustrates its dedication to the Asheville community and allows not only for continued growth, but for productive and collaborative work. The company plans to introduce more conference rooms, communal meetings spaces and natural daylight, as well as revamped and higher capacity restrooms.
