Bookmark and Share Charlotte, NC - April 10, 2017 -

Help turn Lower South End into a sea of pink on Thursday, April 20 for the fourth annual “Pink to Drink” cancer fundraiser.

“Pink to Drink” will take place simultaneously at Sugar Creek Brewing Company (215 Southside Drive), Broken Spoke (227 Southside Drive) and The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery (4150 Yancey Road) from 6:00-9:00PM. Hosted by four of 24 Hours of Booty’s top fundraising teams – Team Reeb, Team LIBSTRONG/Drew’s Crew, Team Amwins and Team Cotswold Cougars – “Pink to Drink” is one of 24 Foundation’s largest team fundraising events of the year.

“’Pink to Drink’ is a one-of-kind event that loops in some of Charlotte’s favorite South End breweries, a fantastic catering company and terrific sponsors for a great cause,” said Scott Dunstan, a member of Team LIBSTRONG/Drew’s Crew. “We hope everyone will come out and enjoy a fun evening while supporting the incredible work the 24 Foundation is doing for cancer navigation and survivorship.”

Guests are encouraged to wear pink at the event, which will feature live music, fresh beer and BBQ & brats from ROOTS Catering. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased at http://bit.ly/PinkToDrink17. Follow the “Pink to Drink” Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/pinktodrinkclt/. Proceeds from the event, silent auction and raffle will benefit 24 Foundation’s signature fundraiser – the 16th Annual 24 Hours of Booty presented by Levine Cancer Institute – taking place July 28-29 in Myers Park.

Since 2014, “Pink to Drink” participants, sponsors and friends have raised tens of thousands of dollars – including $28,000 in 2016 – to make an impact on those living with cancer and to celebrate survivorship.

“This event is a great example of how an extraordinary group of people come together to unite efforts and resources, and engage our community to help change the course of cancer,” said Mallory Walsh, executive director of 24 Foundation. “We appreciate the support from everyone involved to help further our mission and support cancer patient navigation and survivorship programs.”
