Cary Magazine, Western Wake County’s leading lifestyle publication, is seeking nominations for its first 40 Under 40 feature recognizing outstanding young professionals who live and/or work in Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina and Garner. Nominations can be made online at http://www.carymagazine.com/40-under-40-nominations until Wednesday, April 15.

Cary Magazine’s 40 Under 40 will shine a spotlight on young professionals whose career accomplishments and personal commitments play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Western Wake region.

Nominees must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of June 1, 2015, and must reside or work in Western Wake County. Self-nominations will be accepted. Honorees will be selected by a panel of three outside judges and featured in the June-July issue of the magazine.

“Our goal is to recognize dynamic young leaders working in numerous professions and areas of business, education, philanthropy, trend-setting and health,” said Co-Editor Nancy Pardue.

Previous features in the magazine, now in its eleventh year of publication, have included leading employers, outstanding volunteers, triumphant teens, and the popular Women of Western Wake profiles. For the first time, the publication will create a special section focusing on 40 young professionals of note.

“We want to highlight the diversity of young talent and tastemakers who motivate Western Wake to be a better place to live, work and play,” said Co-Editor Amber Keister. “Whether you’re an artist, entrepreneur, teacher, coach, volunteer or other contributor to the community, we want to find out more about you.”
