Community Blood Center of the Carolinas Welcomes Bailey, Ellis, Haas and Michalowski

The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas (CBCC) has added three members to its sponsorship development team: Lauren Bailey, Lori Haas and Roseann Michalowski. Each is responsible for educating the public on the importance of blood donation and recruiting new sponsors and donors. Kanika Ellis has also joined CBCC as a business analyst/project manager.

Previously, Bailey wrote for The Charlotte Observer and was a dance teacher. In her role at CBCC, Bailey also works on marketing and social media. Raised in Charlotte, she graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Advertising, English and Creative Writing.

Before joining CBCC, Haas was a pharmaceutical representative with Women’s Choice Pharmaceuticals. She is a New York native and now resides in Mooresville. She graduated from UNC-Charlotte and earned a master’s degree from Pepperdine University.

Michalowski’s past experience includes being a blood donor recruitment representative and doing sales. A licensed N.C. Wildlife Rehabilitator, she grew up in New York and now calls Statesville home. She is a graduate of Long Island University.

Prior to her role at CBCC, Ellis was a project manager at CCCi and Duke Energy, and a business analyst at Blue Ridge Analytics. Originally from Albany, N.Y., she graduated with a bachelor of arts in Business Management from Clark Atlanta University.
