Constellation Digital Partners, LLC is delighted to announce Ed Brooks as its new Chief Technology and Information Security Officer. In his new role, Brooks is responsible for planning and directing technology activities in the establishment of Constellation as CUSO. He will oversee the development of the digital services platform, as well as define and implement information security practices to ensure the safekeeping of Constellation’s services.
Constellation is a credit union service organization (CUSO) designed to deliver a revolutionary software platform that will transform the future of digital banking for credit unions and members. The company launched May 2. Constellation will be the first and only suite of digital financial services dedicated solely to credit unions.
“Ed is a strong addition to our growing team and we are very excited to have him join us, said Kristopher Kovacs, founder and CEO of Constellation. “He possesses the technical leadership and extensive experience necessary to bring the patented Constellation Digital Services Platform to market.”
Brooks brings more than 30 years of experience providing and managing technology in the financial services industry, with the last 23 years exclusively dedicated to credit unions. Previously, Brooks spent 14 years at Alloya Corporate FCU. As vice president of information systems at Alloya, Brooks led the technology components of six successful mergers and managed the development of Alloya’s web-based cash management application. He also led projects to migrate critical business applications and infrastructure to a managed hosting environment.
In addition, he spent more than 20 years with a major technology services corporation, the last seven of which were devoted to managing the delivery of technology services to CUNA entities, corporate credit unions and other industry-level entities. Brooks has also served as a technology consultant to credit unions in the areas of cybersecurity, evaluation of shared services opportunities and infrastructure planning.
