RALEIGH, NC (April15, 2012) David Wade Salon (www.davidwadesalon.com) the only stylist studio in the Glenwood South District of Raleigh with a 30-year history, announces today that stylist Kelly Ferrara has completed an advanced hair color and cosmetology course at the Ziggers Academy in Atlanta GA.

The three day course taught Kelly the european techniques of Balayage and Ombre, the latest trend in hair coloring . This is the preferred method of highlight application in most of Europe where the hair is carefully hand painted to create a softer "lived in" look. It's a look seen often on the fashion runways of Paris, Rome and London and on Hollywood red carpets.

"There are very few salons on the east coast that offer theses advanced techniques. We are happy to be able to offer our clients the latest in the fashion forward trend of hair coloring and styling," says David Wade salon owner.

Kelly Ferrara is a 23-year veteran of the beauty industry. She has been an educator for Goldwell color and has enjoyed sharing her talents and knowledge with many stylist across the state and country.
