Eddie Money to Headline 8th Annual Rock Your World Benefit Concert

Event to Raise Funds for Hope for Haiti Foundation and Water for Good

Cary, N.C., July 18, 2017 – He has sold over 28 million records and is known for such iconic rock songs as “Baby Hold On,” “Two Tickets to Paradise” and “Take Me Home Tonight.” Eddie Money will headline the 8th Annual Rock Your World benefit concert to be held this year on August 12 at Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre. One hundred percent of proceeds from the event will go to Hope for Haiti Foundation and Water for Good.

Joining Eddie Money on the bill will be Dez Money and Faze (featuring Eddie’s son Dez), along with Band of Brothers, Rick Livingstone and Trey Heffinger. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. on August 12 and the performances will begin at 6. Bob Dumas from G105 and Mike Lee from Hope Community Church will emcee the event, which will also feature food, drink, raffles, a silent auction, and photo booth by TapSnap.

Tickets are $25 for general admission, $40 for reserved admission, and $75 for VIP admission (including covered table seating under the crescent with complimentary food, cocktails and craft beer). A limited number of VIP seats are available in front of the stage. “We are very excited to be bringing the Rock Your World charity concert to Koka Booth Amphitheatre and to have a fantastic music lineup leading up to Eddie Money’s performance,” said Mark Martyak, one of the event organizers. “This will be our biggest fundraising event to date, and will definitely live up to our tagline of ‘Rock and Roll for a Reason.’”

Food for VIP patrons will be provided by Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Gogi Bistro, RallyPoint Sport Grill, Ruckus, Shuckin’ Shack, Social House Vodka, Sullivan’s Steakhouse and Parkside.
