Family Abuse Services Fundraiser Scheduled

Dancing, dinner, and drinks all to help victims of domestic violence in Alamance County. That’s what you can find at Family Abuse Services of Alamance County’s 7th Annual Purple Ribbon Gala on May 6th.

This annual event is the organization’s largest fundraiser and raises money to provide services for families in Alamance County affected by domestic violence. It will feature dancing, casino tables, dinner, drinks, and a silent auction. Auction items include four Disney park passes, sporting event tickets, a signed Panther’s football, a 1-year YMCA family membership, and much more.

This year’s Gala, with a Classic Hollywood theme, will be 6:00-10:00 p.m. at Vailtree Event Center on Saturday, May 6th. The actor ticket is $50 and include entry for one person, dinner, and one drink ticket. The velvet rope package includes four tickets are a reserved half table. The red carpet package includes eight tickets at a reserved full table.

“With the addition of cutting edge programs like the Lethality Assessment Program, we are reaching more clients than ever. The demand for our services has increased dramatically,” said Skye Sullivan, Director of Community Outreach and Education. “Fundraisers like the Purple Ribbon Gala help us start to meet this increase need and support our mission to build a community of peaceful homes.”
