Fifth Annual Jeans and Jewels Gala Set to Sparkle in Uptown May 31

The Fifth Annual “Jeans & Jewels” Gala is bringing blue jeans and bling to Uptown on Saturday, May 31, 2014 to support 24 Hours of Booty and the fight against cancer.

Presented by Bank of America and Diamonds Direct, “Jeans & Jewels” will take place from 7:00-11:00PM at The Urban Garden located at 1 Bank of America Center Building at 150 N. College Street in Uptown Charlotte. Bank of America team members Sandy Morgart Mazoway and Amanda Allen-Glowacki are co-chairing the gala, which will feature dinner, a silent and live auction, DJ and raffle.

Ticket sales will benefit 24 Hours of Booty, the premier organization for integrating community fundraising and cycling to support cancer survivorship and navigation programs.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the fifth year of Jeans and Jewels and to host this wonderful ‘feel good event,” says Mazoway, a veteran 24 Hours of Booty rider, top fundraiser and board member. “We appreciate everyone involved for their dedication to this important cause and helping us honor cancer survivors and raise money to kick cancer’s ‘Booty’.”

The event will also recognize this year’s “Inspiration Award” recipient who serves as a source of inspiration based on how they handled their fight with cancer, past or present, or has motivated others as a result of a relationship with a cancer fighter.
