Espaillat brings more than six years of working in the financial services field to his new role and most recently served as partner in the general office of New York Life. A New York City native, he began his career with New York Life in 2008 after working as a high school football coach and Spanish teacher in North Carolina. Espaillat serves as the vice president on the board of ALPFA and is a member of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He graduated from Wingate University with a bachelor of science in Sports Management with a Minor in Spanish.
