Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a health and welfare benefits brokerage and consulting firm, will host a free educational seminar at the Fayetteville Area Society for Human Resource Management (FASHRM) meeting on Wednesday, April 22, at the Gates Four Golf & Country Club, located at 6775 Irongate Drive. This program, in HCW’s Employee Benefits Ready series, will focus on the Employer Mandate and the potential solutions to maintain compliance and mitigate financial risk.

With the Affordable Care Act in full effect, this presentation will arm attendees with different strategies for offering a benefit program designed to reduce or eliminate risk of penalties for non-compliance. This will be an interactive presentation focusing on compliance considerations and benefits strategy.

This free seminar is accredited by the HR Certification Institute for 1.00 HR general credit hour toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification. HCW is also recognized by SHRM to offer 1 Professional Development Credit (PDC) toward SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM. Registration and breakfast will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the presentation beginning at 12 p.m. For more information or to register, visit http://bit.ly/FayEBR.

“We are excited for the opportunity to present at the monthly Fayetteville Area SHRM meeting,” said Todd Yates, HCW managing partner. “North Carolina employers need to understand how they can prepare for the Employer Mandate by designing a benefit program that maintains compliance and reduces financial risk.”

“The Affordable Care Act has changed the business landscape,” said Audwin Lindsay, FASHRM President. “Human Resource professionals must modify respective strategies to incorporate changes. This presentation can be influential in strategy development.”
