The Foundation of Hope for Research & Treatment of Mental Illness will hold its annual Evening of Hope gala to help fund research projects in search for cures and better treatments for a host of mental illnesses. We are proud to announce that CPI Security will be our Presenting Sponsors of The Evening of Hope on September 13, 2017 at the resplendent Pavilion at the Angus Barn. The night will feature live and silent auctions, a 5-course dinner prepared by Iron Chef Walter Royal, impeccable wine pairings, and a celebrity guest speaker.

This year’s guest speaker is award-winning journalist and author Jane Pauley, who chronicles her struggles with mental illness in her memoir, Skywriting: A Life Out of the Blue. In addition to delivering the evening’s keynote speech, Ms. Pauley will take photographs with guests and sign copies of her book. Ms. Pauley was recently named host of “CBS Sunday Morning”—she is only the third person to do so in the program’s 39-year history.

One of the Triangle’s premier fundraisers, the Evening of Hope promises to be a glamorous and inspiring evening for all. Seats are $500 each; a table of 10 is $5,000. The funds raised will benefit mental health research at UNC-Chapel Hill, as well as community groups serving the Triangle.
