MMI, a strategic communications firm based in North Carolina’s Research Triangle region, has announced the hiring of Joseph Lowe as senior writer. In this role, Lowe is responsible for long and short form content, blog communications, news media content, multimedia scriptwriting, and website copywriting.

Prior to joining MMI, Lowe was a contract writer for leading publications within North Carolina’s Cape Fear region. His work has been published in The Greater Wilmington Business Journal, StarNews, and Focus on the Coast Magazine, among others. In addition, he has worked as a news editor and proofreader. Lowe also has a tutor certification in College Reading and Learning through the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education. He has tutored up to 30 students weekly on reading comprehension, grammatical skills, essay writing and researching.

Lowe received his Bachelor of Arts in English, with a concentration in professional writing, along with two minors in journalism and criminology, from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina.
