RALEIGH, N.C., Oct. 13, 2014 – Kings Bowl America, the ultimate entertainment experience combining great food, cold beer, creative cocktails, bowling, fun table games and incredible music, will hold its North Hills opening day at 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20 at 141 Park at North Hills St., #120. The first 250 guests in attendance will receive a year of free bowling, which includes free shoes and two games per month. In addition, complementary samplings of the creative, homemade menu items will be available.

“Raleigh’s hardworking professionals are looking for a place to have a great time with friends and leave their worries behind, and Kings Bowl of North Hills offers just that,” said Patrick Lyons, president and founder of Lyons Group and Kings Bowl America, LLC. “We are excited to open our doors to the public with an unbeatable lineup of mouth-watering food and drinks, bowling and games to suit any skill and taste. When you come to Kings, you’re guaranteed to have fun and make memories.”

Kings Bowl of North Hills will offer a first-class dining and entertainment experience unlike any other in the area. The idea of bowling alley food as an afterthought is tossed in the gutter at Kings Bowl of North Hills, a restaurant that happens to have bowling and much more. Diners can enjoy the culinary creations from Kings’ executive chef-driven kitchen, with signature homemade appetizers such as fried mac & cheese bites and handmade buffalo wontons, entrees such as pan seared citrus salmon and house smoked baby back ribs, “wicked awesome” milkshakes for dessert and a wide selection of drinks. All menu items are made with fresh, premium, seasonal and – whenever possible – local ingredients.

In addition to the ultra-creative menu, entertainment options include 18 ten-pin bowling lanes, six full-sized billiards tables, five full-sized Ping-Pong tables, a regulation-sized shuffleboard table, two foosball tables, bank shuffleboard table, three air hockey tables and six dartboards. Daily specials and events will be available to suit everyone’s interests, including Service Industry Night, Karaoke Night and Ladies’ Night, as well as weekend disc jockeys and dancing, to name a few. Though Kings Bowl of North Hills is a family friendly venue, it will transform into an adults-only experience after 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 7 p.m. the rest of the week when general public admission moves to ages 21 and above.

Sports enthusiasts can also catch all the action at Kings Bowl of North Hills. The restaurant bar and lounge is equipped with more than 50 giant HDTVs and 10 high-definition projection screens featuring the country’s most popular sporting events in full sound. While enjoying their favorite game, fans can indulge in Kings’ award-winning wings, hand-stretched pizzas, and plenty of craft and local beer options including the coldest, freshest beer on tap available by the pint, pitcher or Kings’ Signature 32 ounce frosted mug.

In addition to the opening day celebration, Kings Bowl of North Hills will host a Kings Cares Grand Opening Charity Event on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. All funds raised throughout the night will go directly to the participating charities, which include Kay Yow Cancer Fund, Junior League of Raleigh, Triangle Family Services, Wake Education Partnership, Archway Foundation, and the Holt Brothers Foundation. Ticket prices will be $35 for a single ticket, $55 for a pair, $100 for a family four-pack and $20 for each ticket beyond four. For more information and to RSVP for the event, visit KingsCares.com.
