A new rental industry startup is preparing for growth in 2015 with the onboarding of several key players. KWIPPED (www.kwipped.com) has announced the appointment of its founding Board of Directors member as well as the hire of two new employees.

Randy Swartz has joined the firm’s Board of Directors, prepared to offer invaluable guidance stemming from in-depth experience in entrepreneurship and business management.

Essentially, that’s what we are looking for from our Board,” said Robert Preville, co-founder and CEO. “With his insight, Randy will enable us to expand our services and witness KWIPPED become all that we envision.”

A serial entrepreneur, Swartz previously held C-suite positions in numerous firms, including Day & Zimmermann International, Chemtex International and Global Test Supply. Currently, he is president of Professional Technical Resources and Management, owner of The Swartz Group (dba VirtualEStaff) and a partner at Cornerstone Advisory Partners.

Swartz recently provided the startup with more than expertise alone. The seasoned executive and financier agreed upon a term sheet with KWIPPED for a significant cash investment.

“Randy understands our vision and as our initial Angel investor, he is wholly committed to our success,” Preville said. “We will use this funding to build out our sales and marketing efforts tremendously. As a result, we anticipate and are prepared for great growth. This is truly the best way for us to kick-start our first full year in business.”

In an effort to expand their reach, KWIPPED founders recently added and filled two vital positions within the company: Social Media Community Manager and Business Development Manager.
