In her new position, Blake is responsible for overseeing human resource development including employee relations, recruitment and selection, benefits administration, compliance, and training and development of new employees.

Prior to joining Longistics in Oct. 2013 as human resources manager, Blake served as the human resource executive for Wake Health Services, Inc., a private, not-for-profit, comprehensive community health center serving Wake County in North Carolina. For six years at Wake Health Services, Blake served as a member of the senior management team and was responsible for organizational and strategic planning, workforce development and providing critical support by leading HR functions for six primary health, pediatrics and dental facilities throughout Wake and Franklin counties.

Blake has earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Human Resource (HRCI) certifications. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and is involved with various community healthcare programs such as food and clothes drives and the North Carolina Community Health Association.
