MassMutual Carolinas, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), has merged with a portion of NSC Financial, also a MassMutual member. Based in Ballantyne, NSC Financial (formerly MetLife) has offices throughout the Carolinas.

In addition to Charlotte, MassMutual Carolinas has offices throughout N.C. including: Asheville, Greensboro, Wilmington, Winston-Salem, Lincolnton, Morganton and Valdese; and in Columbia and Greenville S.C.
