MassMutual Carolinas, a general agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), held its inaugural “Trunk or Treat” event on Oct. 31 to support area charities.

“Trunk or Treat” took place at SouthPark Towers and was part of the firm’s Hands & Feet Community Service Program’s “Fall Into Volunteering” campaign. Attendees enjoyed snacks and hot dogs, life-size games, and raffles treating while learning about community involvement opportunities. Patriots Path, Dove's Nest, Crisis Assistance Ministry, Beds for Kids and Bless Back each hosted a decorated car, gave out candy and shared information about their respective organization.

“We had a blast hosting this fun celebration to bring our community together for camaraderie, fun and to learn ways to get involved in helping others through our Hands and Feet program,” said Timothy C. Flanagan, Jr., CLU, ChFC, CFP®, ChSNC™, President of MassMutual Carolinas. “Our firm is deeply committed to giving back to the community so we appreciate everyone who took part in this event.”
