Messer Construction Co., a construction manager and general contractor that provides leadership for complex commercial building projects, has added a new employee to its Charlotte office. Cara McAdoo has joined Messer as a project engineer, assisting with projects in various industries including higher education and healthcare.

McAdoo is a graduate of North Carolina Agriculture & Technical University where she recently earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management. The Charlotte native completed an internship locally before graduating this past December. While in school, McAdoo volunteered in the local community through Habitat for Humanity and Hospice of Alamance County. She is a member of the Associated General Contractors or America and the National Association for Women in Construction.
