Stallings - M/I Homes of Charlotte is building upon its success in Union County's FairHaven community by announcing a new phase of 42 homes called The Elms.

New ranch homes with walk up 2-story options in The Elms will run from 1,714 to 2,953 square feet, and will cost from $180,990 to about $250,000, depending on home plan and options selected. Each plan features from three to six bedrooms, two to four baths, and a two-car garage, with further enhancements available.

“FairHaven has proven to be a really popular community for us,” says Tamara Lynch, M/I Homes vice president of sales and marketing. “This section of FairHaven will cater to people who enjoy having all of their primary living areas on the main level. We’ve found that the 50 and older market as well as families that are smaller in size especially prefer this type of design.”

Highlights of the five home plans include some brick or stone exterior accents, deluxe master bathroom with garden tub and separate shower, large family room, dining room, and upstairs lofts, extra bedrooms or bonus room. The model home at The Elms will be The Marvin, merchandised by Kay Green Design. Construction is expected to start on the model home in August. The Marvin can be built as 1.5 stories, with three to four bedrooms downstairs and up to two bedrooms upstairs plus a loft.
