The North Carolina Healthcare Information and Communications Alliance, Inc. (NCHICA) today announced its 2016-2017 Officers of the Board of Directors:

• Dave Garrett, Senior Vice President & CIO of Novant Health, is the new Chair. He replaces Dr. William Mattern of UNC Health Care, who served as Chair for the past 16 years.

• Steve Horsley, Senior Vice President & CIO of Cone Health, is President.

• Sissy Holloman, JD, Vice President of the Laboratory Corporation of American Holdings, is First Vice President.

• Jean Foster, representing the North Carolina Health Information Management Association, will continue as Secretary.

• Matthew Castellano, System Executive Director IT for UNC Health Care System, will continue as Treasurer.

NCHICA has a total 34 Board members of who represent the health systems, large and small companies, State and medical associations who work together to transform healthcare in North Carolina through information technology, informatics and analytics.
