North Carolina Coding Bootcamp Offers Two New Courses and Assistance with STEM Job Placement

Kernersville, North Carolina – July 14, 2016 – Coder Foundry has launched a new 4-week introduction to web programing course and a comprehensive 18-week immersive course, opening the coding bootcamp to additional future developers who may not have had the experience previously needed to apply. The intensive coding bootcamp, which was first launched in 2014 with its Full Stack Accelerated course, offers a variety of hands-on training courses on the fundamental framework needed for career advancement in professional software development – one of the fastest growing and most lucrative occupations in today's job market.

With campuses in the Charlotte and Triad markets, Coder Foundry’s Full Stack graduates qualify for jobs with average starting salaries ranging from $60,000 to $90,000. The school also incorporates interview preparation, soft skills training and job placement services as part of courses, and has a network of companies that employ its graduates.

The bootcamp’s newest introductory online class is low-cost and specifically designed for students without any experience coding. The self-paced program is perfect for anyone considering web development as a potential career as it provides an opportunity to learn basic skills while getting a first-hand glimpse into the industry, all for an investment of only $500.

“Recent studies show coding bootcamps are continuing to grow rapidly and offer countless opportunities for elevating someone’s earning potential while also bridging a gap between traditional education and real-world STEM employment needs,” said Lawrence Reaves, CEO and co-founder of Coder Foundry. “With our new online course, we are now able to train more future coders, starting from square one. For anyone who has ever thought about a career in coding but perhaps was unsure of their ability or the skills needed, this is the perfect place to start.”

Upon completion of the online intro course, students will have enough front-end coding fundamentals to enter the workforce or can transition into the school’s longer, more in-depth Full Stack training that teaches back-end coding through hands-on projects that also help build a student’s professional portfolio. Coder Foundry has offered the 12-week Full Stack Accelerated program, which requires previous coding experience, for years with great success. In addition to the new intro course, it is now also offering an 18-week Full Stack Immersive course that gives less experienced students greater fundamental training before going into the Advanced curriculum.

Both Full Stack courses are designed to mimic real-world work experience, exposing students to the same workflow, structure, project types, deadlines and overall expectations they will encounter on the job. Students problem-solve, design and build a variety of mobile-ready, enterprise-quality web applications, equipping them to hit the ground running the first day of a new career.

Coder Foundry’s graduates have come from a wide range of backgrounds with prior careers in accounting, massage therapy, stay-at-home parent and even fast food. The online application process is now open for Coder Foundry’s next set of courses, beginning Aug. 15 at its Charlotte and Triad campuses. The school offers multiple sessions throughout the year, with financial aid opportunities available. Learn more or apply at www.coderfoundry.com.
