RALEIGH, N.C., April 22, 2014 – NC Theatre, celebrating its 30th anniversary as the region’s premier non-profit, professional regional theatre, and Broadway Series South, the anchor presenter of First National Touring shows, are excited to announce that Nice Work If You Can Get It will be joining our sensational 2014/15 season at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. The show will run Tuesday, Jan. 20 through Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015. Subscriptions to the 2014/15 season are now available to both new and returning subscribers.

Nice Work If You Can Get It is a 1920s-era feel-good musical, complete with extravagant dance numbers, glittering costumes and an unlikely love story between a wealthy playboy and a rough and tumble lady bootlegger. This lighthearted crowd pleaser is set against the backdrop of classic Gershwin hits like “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off,” “Someone to Watch Over Me” and “Fascinating Rhythm.” Nice Work is a sparkling, madcap tale that combines laughter, romance and high-stepping Broadway magic for an evening bursting with girls, glamour and the glorious songs of Gershwin!

Please note that due to a tour cancellation, Gilbert & Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance will no longer be featured next season. The revised schedule is outlined below.
