The Novant Health Charlotte Marathon has chosen Recover – a locally based sports apparel brand specializing in sustainable wear – to be the official shirt supplier for this year’s race.

“Recover is thrilled to work with the Novant Health Charlotte Marathon as the supplier for race shirts this year,” said Bill Johnston, co-founder and president of Recover. “Beyond bringing a sustainable, 100% recycled shirt to race participants this year, it's really exciting to offer a local shirt and promote Charlotte based companies.”

Now in its 12th year, the race will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12 and feature a marathon, half-marathon, 5K run/walk, marathon relay and the Chick-fil-A Charlotte Kid’s Marathon Program & 1 Mile Fun Run. The event draws participants from around the United States. The Novant Health Charlotte Marathon – which has a six-hour course time limit – is a Boston Marathon qualifier (course certification is NC15107DF). Registration is open and people can sign up to run, walk or volunteer at www.runcharlotte.com.
