Communications company brings on promising new employees

S&A Cherokee, an award-winning full-service integrated communications company, is pleased to announce two new employees joining the team: Staff Writer Josh Hyatt and Advertising and Sales Assistant Kimberly Byrd.

Before graduating from N.C. State in 2012, Hyatt spent two years working for the Technician, the school’s student newspaper, both as a staff sports writer and sports editor. As the new staff writer for Cherokee Media Group, Hyatt will create and edit content for the company’s various automotive publications. In addition to his enthusiasm for cars, he is a passionate soccer player who has dedicated the last 18 years to the sport.

Byrd, a Georgia State University graduate, previously worked as an account coordinator for MicroMass Communications, also located in Cary. She now works for S&A Cherokee developing relationships with advertising customers and agencies. In her free time, she enjoys painting and searching for ways to restore vintage items for decorative purposes.

“We are very fortunate to have two more talented professionals join our team,” said Bill Zadeits, president of Cherokee Media Group. “Josh and Kimberly each have strong, unique skill sets that we look forward to applying to our media properties.”
