MORRISVILLE, N.C. (September 18, 2014) — Sensus, a Raleigh-based clean technology solutions company, raised more than $34,000 for Make-A-Wish® Eastern North Carolina during their Charity Golf Classic held last Saturday. The event took place at The Crossings Golf Course in Durham, N.C., and drew more than 100 participants including Wake County resident Brandon Kerstetter who received his wish to play golf at Pebble Beach last year.

One hundred percent of the proceeds generated from the event were donated to help grant wishes to local children with life-threatening medical conditions just like Brandon.

In the past year, Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina granted a record 202 wishes, according to Ken Baroff, the organization’s vice president of development. “Every one of those wishes represents a milestone for a child, their family, and in many cases an entire community.
