Spring & Fall Wine Walk Benefiting Kay Yow Cancer Fund Returns March 31, April 28, May 26, August 25, September 29 & October 27; 5-8 p.m.

Experience the charm of Waverly Place, Cary’s premier shopping and entertainment destination, during the Waverly Wine Walk benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Presented by Johnson Subaru of Cary, the signature event series returns Friday, March 31 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and continues the last Friday of April, May, August, September and October.

Enjoy a casual evening strolling Waverly Place and visiting participating shops and restaurants for wine samples and exclusive promotions. Over 17 merchants will be sampling red, white and sparkling selections handpicked by Triangle Wines.

Receive a sampling glass and Waverly Wine Walk Passport allowing access to the event with a $10 donation to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Donations will be accepted on-site at Kay Yow booths located at entry points near Gigi’s Cupcakes and Whole Foods Market. To sample wines, guests must be over 21 years of age.

The third annual event continues to grow in popularity. In 2016, Waverly Place raised over $23,000 for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund to aid in the fight against women’s cancers.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund was founded on December 3, 2007 in honor of Coach Kay Yow. First diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987, Coach Kay passed away on January 24, 2009. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization committed to the fight against women’s cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved, and unifying people for a common cause.
