All proceeds from the event will benefit Staff of Hope, a nonprofit organization that works to provide clean water, education and health care to people in East Africa. Founded by a group of seminary students in 2001, the organization provides clean water to more than 20,000 people every year.

Registration is $25 per vehicle, and judges will select first and second place awards in each vehicle class. All-you-can-eat barbecue will be available with the purchase of a wristband for $15. Attendees will help select a Best in Show People’s Choice Award winner and Best BBQ People’s Choice winner.

“This event combines many things that North Carolinians love: cool vehicles, good music and great barbecue,” said Tommy Faulkner, president of Falcon Engineering. “We hope people will come out, have a good time, and help us raise money for a terrific nonprofit organization.”
