Repairs May Take Months, Bakery Relocated to 1705 Prime

Following a kitchen fire on August 15, Rocky Top Hospitality owner Dean Ogan has announced that The Twisted Fork restaurant and bakery is expected to be closed for several months while undergoing renovation. In the interim, the bakery has been relocated to 1705 Prime, Rocky Top’s catering venue located at 1705 E. Millbrook Road in Raleigh.

Nobody was injured in the fire, and Rocky Top Hospitality extends its gratitude to firefighters and Twisted Fork staff who acted quickly to prevent further spread of the fire. Rocky Top is cooperating fully with investigators to determine the cause of the fire, and will look to implement additional safety measures in the future.

Twisted Fork Pastry Chef Richard Smith is still accepting dessert orders at 1705 Prime. He may be reached at richardsmith@rockytophospitality.com or by calling 919-850-2340.

“We’ve been in this location in North Raleigh for almost 13 years and promise to come back better than ever,” said Ogan. “In the meantime, we ask for patience from our loyal followers and will let them know when we’re ready to welcome them back.”
