UnitedHealthcare and The Tar Heel 10 Miler Recognize North Carolina’s ‘Fittest’ Companies

Seven of North Carolina’s fittest companies were recognized this week following the Tar Heel 10 Miler UnitedHealthcare Corporate Challenge, a competition honoring organizations that best exemplify a commitment to health and wellness.

The winning companies were selected based on their level of employee participation in both the Tar Heel 10 Miler and Fleet Feet Sports 4 Mile Run.

UnitedHealthcare and Tar Heel 10 Miler congratulate the 2017 UnitedHealthcare Corporate Challenge winners:

· 1-15 employees: McDonald York Building Company

· 16-49 employees: Fleet Feet Carrboro and Durham

· 50-99 employees: UNC Family Medicine

· 100-299 employees: UNC Wellness Centers

· 300-499 employees: Rho, Inc.

· 500-999 employees: UNC School of Medicine

· 1000+ employees: Credit Suisse

McDonald York Building Company and Fleet Feet Carrboro and Durham both celebrate their first win in their categories while this is the third consecutive win for UNC Family Medicine.

Each winning company received a trophy and will be featured in the June issue of Endurance Magazine.
