Charlotte has been chosen as the first stop of the national Women2Women Conversations Tour — a series of meetings designed to engage, motivate and provide a voice to female voters from all backgrounds and political affiliations.

The tour is sponsored by Main Street Advocacy (MSA) – a 501 (c)(4) non-profit organization devoted to educating citizens about government and the political process – and will be held on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 from 6:30–9:00PM at the Ballantyne Hotel located at 10000 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy, Charlotte, N.C. 28277.

“It is time for Washington to hear what the women of America have to say,” says MSA Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer Sarah Chamberlain. “This tour is designed to give women an outlet to talk about the issues that are important to them and to learn about proposed legislation that could directly impact them. We encourage all women to come join the discussion so that we can take their message and concerns back to Washington.”

A longtime resident of Charlotte’s Ballantyne area, Chamberlain adds, “I am excited to make Charlotte the first stop of the 2014 Women2Women Conversations Tour.” After Charlotte, the tour moves on to Tucson, Ariz., Sacramento, Calif., and Jamestown, NY, with other cities being added. The event is free, but space is limited so it is highly recommended that reservations be made soon at www.MainStreetAdvocay.com/women.

About Main Street Advocacy:

Main Street Advocacy (MSA) is a 501 (c)(4) non-profit organization devoted to educating citizens about government, and promoting values and initiatives to get Washington working again. MSA believes America works best when government is limited and fiscally responsible, when individual liberties are a national priority, and when free markets and free people are left to control their own destiny. MSA’s mission is to bring together caring Americans who are tired of decades of hyper-partisanship and dysfunction in Washington, with a singular goal of unity rather than division, supported by strong leadership that governs in accordance with MSA’s core principles.
