Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Carolina (RMHC of NC) is celebrating an incredible accomplishment for the start of 2019. McDonald’s and customers across the state helped raise $168,800 to support the charity and its seven Ronald McDonald Houses in North Carolina. The funds raised not only met the charity’s goal of $150,000, it exceeded the amount.

“We cannot thank our local McDonald’s and their loyal customers enough for their generosity throughout this fundraiser,” said Fred Huebner, local McDonald’s owner/operator and Board President of RMHC of NC. “These donations will help keep thousands of families together during one of life’s most difficult trials, when a child is sick or injured.”

From November 27th through the end of December, customers visited McDonald’s across the state, donating $1, $3 or $5. These donations will now help change the lives of critically ill children and their families. Just $10 can cover one family’s stay at one of our Ronald McDonald Houses. The money raised during this campaign equates to 16,880 nights for families in need.
