Christian Brothers Automotive in Wake Forest has hired Carolyn Robinson as its service manager. With nearly four decades of experience in the automotive repair industry, she will oversee customer service, manage the technician workflow, and be responsible for inventory and parts deliveries.
“Christian Brothers Automotive welcomes Carolyn Robinson as the newest member of our service team. Our customers will benefit from her many years of expertise and the top-notch service and automotive care she’ll provide,” said Scott Lillie, co-owner of the franchise auto repair shop with his wife Ginny.
Robinson began her career as a service technician in Chicago, where she worked for Sears, Firestone and a commuter bus system. A job opportunity and family ties brought her to North Carolina in 1984. She worked at auto repair shops in Jacksonville and Swansboro before moving to Baltimore, Md., to work as a district manager for a national chain of car, muffler and exhaust repair shops, where she was responsible for eight locations.
Robinson moved back to North Carolina in 2011 for her first service advisor job at a Raleigh car dealership before accepting her current position at Christian Brothers Automotive in Wake Forest.
She and her husband live in Youngsville, N.C., and when she’s not working, Robinson enjoys gardening and cooking.
Christian Brothers Automotive is located at 1751 Heritage Center Drive in Wake Forest near The Factory. The shop’s technicians are ASE-certified through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence and they provide an array of services including oil changes, check engine lights, computer diagnostics, brakes, electrical systems, air conditioning services, drivetrain and suspension or factory required maintenance, among other things.
