New Facility Accommodates 17 Treatment Rooms and Seminar Space

When Dr. Allan Acton opened Cary Family Dental in 2003, little did he know that the community-minded practice would add six additional dentists and expand to a second location 15 years later. To meet growing demand, Dr. Acton and the staff of Cary Family Dental are proud to announce the grand opening of a new location closer to Downtown Cary at 915 Kildaire Farm Road. The original location at 1149 Kildaire Farm Road will continue to see patients.

The new location will offer patients general, cosmetic and sedation dentistry, as well as endodontics and periodontics, in a state-of-the-art facility. The new space will facilitate more early-morning, late-afternoon and same-day appointments, as well as easy parking access. In keeping with Cary Family Dental’s philanthropic efforts, the practice will also make its community seminar space available to local organizations and nonprofit groups.

Originally built in 1977, the 915 Kildaire Farm Road building was purchased for $1.1 million and has undergone $1 million in renovations to accommodate 17 treatment rooms. The space covers 10,000 square feet over two floors. Prior to 1977 the location housed condos and townhomes. In recent years it has been occupied by a dental office, massage and facial spa, and a chiropractor.

Local building contractors and vendors for the project include Riley Contracting Group, Harris Construction Management, DNL Construction, Design Ergonomics Inc. and Greenscape Inc.

Cary Family Dental is expecting to see its first patients in the new location next week. The practice will have an official ribbon cutting with invited VIPs on September 27 at 10 a.m. The public is invited to this event.
