Freiberg will focus on agent recruitment and training for further expansion in the area markets

Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, the leading real estate company in the Triangle region, has named Lauren Freiberg as Assistant Manager of its Chapel Hill and Pittsboro real estate sales offices. In her new role, Freiberg will focus on agent recruitment and training to help grow the Chapel Hill and Pittsboro real estate teams, support existing sales associates, and gain additional market share over area competitors.

“I’m confident Lauren will be an asset to our Chapel Hill and Pittsboro real estate offices and teams,” said Randy Cox, sales manager and broker-in-charge of the Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston Chapel Hill and Pittsboro offices. “She brings a unique perspective to this leadership role having worked one-on-one with many of our company’s agents as a trusted trainer and mentor. We will all benefit from her expertise.”

In total, Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston’s Chapel Hill and Pittsboro real estate sales office support 85 agents and representatives. Located at 1600 East Franklin Street, the Chapel Hill office has led the Chapel Hill and Carrboro residential real estate markets since its inception in August 1985. The company’s newer Pittsboro office located in Bellemont Station at 120 Lowes Drive has also ramped up quickly in the past two years.

“With Chatham Park on the way in Pittsboro and numerous projects breaking ground in and around Chapel Hill, there is significant development happening in this area,” said Freiberg. “I’m excited to immerse myself in these markets to support our talented teams and recruit new agents to expand our services.”

Freiberg joined Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston as a Realtor in December 2015 and transitioned in-house to be the company’s Resource Trainer a year later. In that corporate role, she provided superior marketing and technology product support and guidance to more than 845 real estate agents in all of the company’s 15 regional sales offices. Her ability to engage and empower agents to utilize new real estate tools and develop and execute strategic marketing plans proved to be successful, especially for new sales associates.

“We’ve assembled tremendously talented, well-respected real estate teams to support these local communities and I know that Lauren’s leadership will not only continue that success but advance it further as we grow,” added Cox.

Before joining Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, Freiberg served as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser at Leatherman Real Estate Services in Raleigh for nearly six years. Prior to that, she worked as a project coordinator at McKinney marketing and advertising firm. Currently planning a trip to Portugal next year, Freiberg is an avid traveler having visited New Zealand, Iceland, and Montreal in the past two years. When she is not jet-setting across the globe, Freiberg, her husband Baker, and their spritely Goldendoodle Lily reside in Raleigh.

Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston operates 15 real estate sales offices in North Carolina from Mebane in the west to Goldsboro in the east. The full-service real estate firm serves the western part of the Triangle area with offices in Durham, Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, Hillsborough, and Mebane.
