Eaton and Her Spark Manufacturing Month Celebration

Power management company Eaton and Her Spark, a Raleigh, NC-based organization dedicated to solving gender disparity in computer science, engineering and technology careers, are joining forces to highlight modern manufacturing to Raleigh-area high school students.

Eaton and Her Spark will host a student tour at Eaton’s Raleigh Plant Operations (RPO) facility on Tuesday, October 22 as part of a Manufacturing Month celebration to showcase modern manufacturing and help get high school students – of any gender – interested in manufacturing, engineering and other STEM careers.

WHAT: Eaton and Her Spark Manufacturing Month Celebration

Event will include a tour of Eaton’s RPO facility, including the manufacturing floor that produces uninterruptible power systems (UPSs) and power distribution units (PDUs) for data centers, enterprises, healthcare facilities and other businesses, as well as the on-site Customer Experience Center. Eaton employees will present an overview of manufacturing career opportunities, and highlight Eaton’s early talent opportunities, including internships, co-ops and leadership development programs. Following the tour, students will enjoy a healthy catered dinner and have the chance to ask Eaton employees questions about their work and the facility.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 22, 2019; 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
