Growing Child Pediatrics is hosting a “Picture Perfect Prom” event on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for young ladies who may not otherwise have an opportunity to get a dress for an upcoming prom. More than 100 gently used prom and formal dresses in a variety of sizes will be given away at the practice’s Wake Forest location at 11130 Capital Boulevard in Wake Forest.

Event organizers Mandy Johnson, PNP and Joanne Wagner, MD have been collecting donated dresses at all seven locations of Growing Child Pediatrics throughout the Triangle. Everyone is welcome to attend the event and light refreshments will be served as the young ladies peruse and select a dress to take home for free.

“We’re very excited about offering this first-time Picture Perfect Prom event,” said Johnson, a nurse practitioner at the Wake Forest location of Growing Child Pediatrics. “We are hoping for a great turnout and look forward to doing more community outreach programs in the future.”
