Young Moore is pleased to welcome Jennifer C. Fisher as a member of the firm’s health care team. Jennifer holds both a J.D. and an M.D. and represents medical care providers and long term care facilities in matters involving medical malpractice and professional liability. She also represents providers before professional boards and in Section 1983 civil rights litigation in federal court.

Jennifer is a graduate of Yale Law School (2004) and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine (2016). She also earned a Bachelor’s in English from Washington & Lee University (2000). After law school, Jennifer returned to her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina where she spent 4 years practicing as a civil litigator at the law firm of Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A. During that time, she earned a reputation among colleagues and opponents for careful communication, sound judgment, and fierce advocacy. While studying medicine, Jennifer had the opportunity to delve deeply into medical literature and work with healthcare providers across the state. This experience inspired her to return to law and use her combined legal and medical knowledge to provide clients with multi-faceted representation.

“We are very excited to have Jennifer on board,” says Elizabeth McCullough, leader of the firm’s Health Care Industry Group. “Our health care clients will benefit from her combination of education and experience in both the practice of law and the study of medicine.”
