<p>Derived from fats, oils and greases, biodiesel is biodegradable, non-toxic, and safer to handle than petroleum-based diesel fuel. When used in a diesel engine, biodiesel creates less air pollutants and less greenhouse gas emissions. Biodiesel blends of 20% (B20) and lower are generally safe for diesel engines. Consumers should make sure that it can be used in their vehicle without causing any damage and/or voiding the manufacturer's warranty.
