24 Hours of Booty, Inc. today announced that registration for the 13th Annual 24 Hours of Booty presented by Levine Cancer Institute will kick off on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at 9:00AM (EST). All participants must register online at www.24hoursofbooty.org.

“We are very excited for next year’s event and look forward to kicking off the New Year with our registration launch,” said Basil Lyberg, executive director of 24 Hours of Booty. “Not only are folks signing up for a healthy activity, but an opportunity to make an impact on the cancer community right in the backyard of our event.”

The annual charity non-competitive cycling event for all ages and cycling abilities is scheduled to roll on the “Booty Loop” in Charlotte’s Myers Park neighborhood from 7:00PM Friday, July 25 to 7:00PM Saturday, July 25, 2014. To safely accommodate riders on the 3-mile closed course, event registration will be capped at the first 1,200 registrants.

To participate in the Charlotte event, each rider is required to pay a $65 fee to register and raise a minimum of $400 prior to the ride. Forty-eight hours after registration closes out, 24 Hours of Booty will open its reboot program for the Charlotte event. Funds raised support local and national cancer charities. For more information or to sign up for the event on Jan. 7, visit www.24hoursofbooty.org.

Myers Park Traditional School will again serve as home to “Bootyville” where riders camp, eat and recharge when not riding. In the event’s 12-year history, more than 11,000 riders have raised more than $10 million. In addition to the ride in Charlotte, 24 Hours of Booty holds cycling events in Atlanta, Ga., Columbia, Md. and Indianapolis, IN.
