24 Hours of Booty Announces Members of its Charlotte Organizing Committee

24 Hours of Booty, Inc. – which runs the Official 24-Hour Cycling Event of the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the premier national 24-hour road cycling charity event in the country – today announced members of its volunteer-based Booty Organizing Committee (BOC). Charged with driving rider recruitment and event awareness, BOC members also help spearhead the planning and execution of their assigned 24 Hours of Booty event.

Members of the 2012 BOC for the 11th Annual 24 Hours of Booty presented by Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte (July 27-28) include: Lucy Anderson, Paul Bellin, Rafik Betabdishoo, Sean Burke, Jonathan Dale, Scott Dunstan, Beth Fernandez, Sam Fuller, Carrie Futral, George Hamm, Merriwether Hendrick, Terry Hennessee, Elizabeth Hindal, Mark Hindal, Gwen Poth, Tony Sapian, Ruben Talavera, Jenni Walker and David Whitley.

“The Booty Organizing Committee component for each of our four event series is a critical ingredient for our success,” said Basil Lyberg, executive director of 24 Hours of Booty. “These are some of our most dedicated and passionate lead volunteers who go above and beyond in lending their time and talents to help us plan and run our events.”

The 11th Annual 24 Hours of Booty presented by Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte will take place July 27-28, 2012. In addition to the Charlotte event, 24 Hours of Booty will also host its inaugural 24 Hours of Booty of Indianapolis at Butler University on Friday, June 29-Saturday, June 30, 2012; the Fourth Annual 24 Hours of Booty of Columbia, Md. at the Gateway Business Park “Booty Loop” on Saturday, Aug. 25-Sunday, Aug. 26 2012; and the Third Annual 24 Hours of Booty of Atlanta at the Sandy Springs “Booty Loop” on Saturday, Oct. 13 -Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012.
