Angela Gallo, LSN, DTR, president of Total Nutrition Technology, has joined the Corvian Community School board of directors. The private school in Huntersville serves children K-2nd grade. Angela will help develop the school’s healthy living curriculum and offer seminars and workshops for teachers, staff and parents to educate them on healthy eating and exercise. She will also help Corvian model healthy living throughout the school.

Corvian Community School focuses on the development of the whole child and seeks to address the cognitive, emotional, social and physical needs of each student.

“I strongly believe in the Corvian educational model and am quite honored and excited about the opportunity to contribute as a board member,” said Gallo. “Parents and teachers are tremendous role models for children and the opportunity to work with these role models and have an impact on the school’s healthy living programs is a responsibility I take very seriously. I appreciate their commitment to help these young students develop life-long healthy living habits and look forward to being a part of the program.”
