Annual Women Helping Women Business Expo Announces June 9th Silent Auction and Networking Event

The Triangle community rallies to support the Annual Women Helping Women Business Expo with sponsorships, two grand prizes and over 50 silent auction items. The June 9th expo beginning at 5:30pm at the prestigious Cardinal Club in downtown Raleigh features 100+ businesses and charities, educational seminars, live music and more. Admission tickets are $15 at the door and online and include appetizers and one entry to either grand prize raffle. Attendees are encouraged to adhere to the club’s dress code – no jeans, athletic shoes or shorts please.

“We all are excited about this year’s expo. Every year it gets bigger and better,” said Meg Russell, the co-chair of the 2011 expo. “The silent auction items are wonderful and the 2 grand prizes are phenomenal,” offered co-chair Donna Rogers.

Magazine” and the “Raleigh Downtowner Magazine,” the Expo http://www.WHWBusinessExpo.com offers a balance of education, entertainment and enjoyment in an event showcasing the strength of women as both business owners and consumers. A hundred local businesses and charities will display a wide range of products and services targeted specifically toward women.

Women’s Power Networking welcomes LaserLean of Chapel Hill’s donation of nine treatments of ZERONA® Laser Treatments and Dr. Molly Leavitt’s donation of ten treatments of Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture. The two grand prizes, valued at $3,400 and $2,500 respectively, will help raise funds for the organization’s projects.

In addition to the grand prizes, a variety of products and services all valued at over $100 will be on display for the silent auction. Some of the items donated include:

- A hand-made ceramic birdhouse by award-winning artist Marina Bosetti. Value $350

- Custom arch supports by Foot Solutions of Raleigh. Value $399

- Silver and Gold Bracelet donated by Fink’s Jewelers. Value $325

- A wide variety of wine, entertainment, beauty and spa baskets valued at over $100 each

- and much more.

Panel discussions and breakout sessions that focus on business growth, leadership, empowerment, finance, health and beauty are also offered.
