Aqua-Tots Swim Schools, a leader in swim instruction, is making a splash in Charlotte with a brand new indoor facility. The newest Aqua-Tots Swim School, located in the Old Lancaster Town Center at the corner of Lancaster Highway and Providence Road West, is opening its doors to swimmers today. The facility offers a convenient location for quality swim instruction to residents of Charlotte, Matthews, Ballantyne and surrounding areas.

The year-round facility features a 46 X 24 foot indoor pool heated to a comfortable 90 degrees; a viewing area with free Wi-Fi services for parents; spacious and clean changing rooms for swimmers; a play area for siblings and children not participating in lessons; and a snack bar and retail area. Lessons are offered for children of all ages and abilities.

Aqua-Tots Charlotte co-owners Tommy Fisher and Lindsay Rhodenbaugh are natives of the Queen City and longtime athletes. Rhodenbaugh began her career at the age of 10 for Mecklenburg Athletic Club and went on to swim competitively for North Carolina State University.

"At Aqua-Tots, we are truly committed to our communities by teaching children safety and confidence in the water and getting a chance to watch them succeed," said Fisher. The new Aqua-Tots Swim School offers open swim sessions twice a month on Saturdays for enrolled guests. In addition, Aqua-Tots will host a free swim club on Wednesdays and Saturdays for enrolled advanced swimmers who have learned the fundamental swim strokes.

Currently, Aqua-Tots is offering discounts for families and guests who purchase bi-weekly lessons or add a second child to their memberships. Each discount presents a $10 savings.
