Atlantic Tire & Service, a locally owned and operated automotive care and repair center in the Triangle, has been awarded the 2013 Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Eastern North Carolina Torch Award in the Large Business Category. This award recognizes exemplified trustworthy business practices, ethical marketing and management practices, positive community relations and solid industry reputation.

All of the entries for this award were evaluated by an independent panel of prestigious judges who represent business communities in Eastern North Carolina. Atlantic Tire stood out not only for its long-standing commitment to customer service and ethical management, but for its dedication to community service and giving back.

Atlantic Tire and the other Torch Award recipients were honored at an awards presentation at BBB of Eastern North Carolina’s Annual Meeting yesterday afternoon at Prestonwood Country Club.

Atlantic Tire & Service in recent years has won awards that include the Blue Seal of Excellence Award, the Cary Chamber’s Employer of the Year Award, Business of the Year Award and Community Service Award, the Morrisville Chamber’s Business of the Year Award, Cary News’ “Best Place for Automotive Repair,” Cary Magazine’s Maggy Award for “Best Mechanic in Western Wake” and Tire Review magazine’s Top Shop Award.
