Bookmark and Share Raleigh, NC - November 19, 2014 -

Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the two biggest shopping days of the year, Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar in Raleigh and Morrisville will celebrate giving back on Dec. 2. Both store locations will donate 10 percent of proceeds from all sales during the day, appropriately named Giving Tuesday, to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County.

The fundraiser will run during normal store hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The money raised will directly support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County in their programs that emphasize academic success, good character, citizenship and healthy lifestyles.

“Being an active participant in the Triangle community and giving back to local groups that are doing great work is extremely important to Bad Daddy’s,” said Cov DeRamus, general manager of Bad Daddy’s Raleigh location. “The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County are a safe haven for so many children and help them achieve their dreams for the future. We’re honored to be involved in Giving Tuesday and support such a worthy cause.”

Both Bad Daddy’s locations and the Boys & Girls Clubs will share information about the day and engage with others participating in Giving Tuesday via social media using the hashtags #GivingTuesday and #ChooseBGC. The participating Bad Daddy’s locations are located at 111 Seaboard Ave. in Raleigh and 3300 Village Market Place in Morrisville.
