Band Together Welcomes New Advisory Board Members

Band Together NC, a Triangle-based organization that uses live music as a platform for social change, has announced the addition of four new members to its advisory board. Kyle Elliott, Tom Fritsch, Kyle Lawrence and Chris Widmayer will join the existing advisory board of 53 business and community leaders.

Elliott, principal at Wilbanks Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC, is a graduate of Campbell University and the Southeastern Trust School and College for Financial Planning. He has been a Triangle resident for nearly 30 years.

Fritsch, Managing Director with CBRE|Raleigh, has lived in the Triangle for over 40 years, and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Lawrence, vice president and practice leader of the Mid-Atlantic region for Marsh & McLennan Agency, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has lived in Raleigh since 1981.

Widmayer, vice president for Regency Centers, has lived in the area for 10 years. He graduated from Miami University (Ohio) and earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

“Band Together is fortunate that respected and talented community and business leaders continue to step forward and offer to serve our cause and partnerships,” said Matt Strickland, executive director of Band Together. “Their expertise and passion for improving our community will allow us to expand our positive impact on the Triangle and beyond.”

During their three-year term, advisory board members’ responsibilities include annual and long-term fundraising and giving feedback and advice to the Band Together board of directors.
