Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Nathan P. Viebrock has joined the firm as an associate on the Financial Services Litigation and Compliance and Government Enforcement and Investigations teams. Mr. Viebrock will practice in the firm’s Charlotte and Washington, D.C. offices.

“Nate is an excellent addition to the Bradley family. We are pleased and excited to have him on board, as his capabilities and background reinforce the continued growth of our presence in Charlotte and Washington, D.C.,” said Bradley’s Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner Beau Grenier.

In his practice, Mr. Viebrock helps his financial services clients to offer compliant financial products that serve the best interests of both the client and their customers. Before joining Bradley, Mr. Viebrock worked as an enforcement attorney and outreach associate at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). His government service affords clients the opportunity to consult an attorney with a unique understanding of the goals of government regulators and an appreciation for the compliance challenges that increased regulation can cause financial service providers.

Mr. Viebrock earned his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Georgia, where he served as president of the Equal Justice Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising money to support public-interest fellowships for law students. He dedicated his law school summers to clerking at state and federal public defender offices where he developed his litigation skills and learned to advocate for the best interests of his clients. He earned his B.S. from Ithaca College.

Mr. Viebrock is not yet licensed to practice in North Carolina. He is admitted to practice only in the District of Columbia, Illinois and New York.
