Carolina Wild, Inc., a company based near Pink Hill, NC, not only produces a premium 100 percent muscadine juice, but also intends to bolster the economy of the greater Duplin County area.

Family brought them back to Maxwell’s home July 2012. The family farm located in an area called “Chocolate” has been in the Maxwell family since the 1700s. Given the nutritional profile of this indigenous fruit and the profitability to local farmers suffering from the loss of tobacco, the couple realized a new market for muscadines was needed. Carolina Wild was born. The bottle design was developed in part with the help of NC State College of Design. Chef and the Farmer restaurant in Kinston and inspiration for the national PBS success, "A Chef's Life," was the first place to serve cocktails with Carolina Wild.
