Charlotte Attorney Recognized by the International Franchise Association

CHARLOTTE, NC – Nexsen Pruet’s Corby Anderson has been recognized as a Certified Franchise Executive by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives.

The academic branch of the International Franchise Association’s Educational Foundation offers a comprehensive course of study in franchise management. Anderson completed the curriculum, which helps professional understand the fundamentals and complex aspects of the franchising industry, in 2014.

“We knew Corby was the real deal, that’s why we brought her to the firm,” said John Sowards, Nexsen Pruet’s Chairman of the Board. “The fact that she went out and earned this certification illustrates just how dedicated she is to her clients and to her franchise law practice.”

Corby Anderson represents franchise and other clients in matters involving intellectual property, social media, privacy, advertising and commercial disputes. She is also a certified mediator. Anderson currently serves as Editor in Chief of The Franchise Lawyer, a newsletter published by the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising.
